Tech Websites:
in addition to all the post at TTB this list is composed of more useful for any graphic designer, avid web surfer/ reader
- Addthis: great – for any blog or website, it generates social bookmarking icons that you can easy upload into your site (via copy pasting code, and I promise it’s not complicated) also allows you to access analytics and better understand your readership
- Addtoany: the same basic idea as addthis, however addtoany is a bit more flexible (in terms of allowing whatever social network providers you want to appear in the buttons generated for you site), however they do not have the analytics option which is available via addthis
- Deluxe Blog Templates: probably the best free blogging template site out there (that I’ve found to date!) What makes this site so nice is the easy navigation, and the simplified layout. After visiting n blog template sites I’ve found the vast majority are very cluttered, and hard to navigate. Most of the time I only get to the second or third page and then become overwhelmed with the noisy in site adds, and complicated site layout and end up leaving. Deluxe Blog Templates does an amazing job with providing only high quality, professional looking templates, that easily upload into blogger!
- Apple downloads: always a worthwhile site to check out. Tons of developers post trials of software that is going to be released in the near future, additionally there’s plenty of freeware software that is 100% free of charge and does not deactivate after a certain time period (this is what is commonly known as shareware does)
- Scanning Tips: explains the basics of using a scanner, also goes over recommended settings for scanning artwork into computer so that you get the most accurate image possible. This is the sublink for “line art” scanning tips
- Codefisher: great site with a lot of wonderful extensions for website interfaces, blogging programs, etc
- Two of my very favorite web 2.0 pages for great tagging and organization of all your favorite bookmarks
